Monument Court treats poured concrete the way a sculptor treats marble, shaping a public court as a permanent, honest volume completely free of unnecessary ornament. Massive natural-light apertures were positioned so that not a single column blocks the reflections across the board-marked interior surfaces. The space now reads as a civic hall and a work of art at once. It stands as a true public monument built from raw geometry and natural light.
